On 24th May 2010 I.E Arrow class units 2712/2711 stops at Campile on the Rosslare-Waterford route which is sadly going to close on 21st July 2010. Passenger usage accounts for 2% of revenue of the line. Around 25 passengers use the service every day, due to poor timetabling. There is only one train each way daily from Monday to Saturday, leaving Rosslare Europort at 07:00 and returning from Waterford at 17:20. The trains have very poor connections to other rail services, probably deliberately! The line opened in 1854 and was once famed for its sugar beet train, sadly now all finished.
